Remote Job Description:
This is a fully remote position and it is required that the physician be geographically located/live in the New England Region. The clinician will provide the full scope of primary care services to patients of the BILH Virtual Primary Care Practice, including but not limited to diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions, preventive care and health maintenance, and coordination of care in the virtual setting. Patients will access procedures that necessitate physical examination with BILH urgent care partners. The clinician will have a focus on family or internal medicine. The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities and skills required of this position.Primary Responsibilities:
Obtain health history and perform virtual physical examinations utilizing medical instruments and equipment. Order or execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on a patient's condition. Analyze reports and findings of tests and examinations, and diagnose condition of patient. Accurately diagnose and treat a wide-range of acute and chronic diseases and injuries Administer or prescribe treatments and medications appropriate to a patient's diagnosis. Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal statutes and professional practice guidelines. Promote health by advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease. Prepare records and reports as required in support of services rendered in accordance with established procedures. Counsel patient and, if appropriate, family on diagnosis and treatment plans to ensure understanding and follow-through. Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider meetings, and other clinical meetings. Make referrals to specialists when appropriate for a patient's condition and treatment. Support BILHPC culture and promote team-based delivery of patient care. Provide clinical cross coverage as needed for the virtualist programREQUIREMENTS
Graduate degree from an accredited School of Medicine and Residency Program Qualified candidates should be board-certified/board-eligible in family medicine or internal medicine. Must possess a valid medical license Must be located/live in the New England Region Demonstrated ability to use medical record systems to thoroughly and properly document patient visits. $250,000.00 USD - $290,000.00 USD The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation may be determined based on several factors, that may include education, training, relevant experience, specialty, geography of work location, productivity, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include productivity and quality bonuses.
