As a Radiology Breast Imaging specialist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing breast health conditions using state-of-the-art imaging techniques. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care, conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, and contribute to the advancement of breast imaging practices within our organization. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including mammography, ultrasound, and MRI Interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans Maintain detailed patient records and documentation Educate patients about breast health and imaging procedures Participate in quality assurance programs and peer reviews Stay updated on the latest advancements in breast imaging technology Contribute to research and clinical trials as necessary Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Completion of residency in Radiology Board certification in Radiology preferred Experience in breast imaging techniques and technologies Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
Schedule:
8a-5p
Setting:
Primarily onsite, some remote work possible
Average Daily Volume:
13 DX mammograms, 10 screening mammograms, and 1 US biopsy
Case Types:
100% breast imaging Will read inpatient and outpatient cases Must be board-certified
Compensation & Benefits:
$550K annual base salary Up to $100K per quarter in bonusing Sign-on bonus Relocation assistance
