Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pain Management Doctor to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and develop comprehensive pain management plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. Your expertise will help improve quality of life for individuals suffering from acute or chronic pain conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent patient service skills, and a passion for innovative pain relief strategies. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations, to identify pain sources and develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools such as medical imaging and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems to inform clinical decisions. Administer interventional procedures including nerve blocks, epidural injections, and botulinum toxin treatments to alleviate pain. Collaborate with specialists in fields such as psychiatry, neurology, orthopedics, and radiology to optimize patient outcomes. Educate patients on pain management options, lifestyle modifications, and medication use, ensuring understanding of treatment plans. Monitor patient progress through follow-up visits and adjust therapies accordingly to maximize relief and safety. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and CPT coding standards for billing purposes. Requirements Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Pain Medicine or Anesthesiology. Proven experience in acute pain management, interventional radiology procedures, and perioperative care. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for documentation and patient tracking. Strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to pain diagnosis and treatment planning. Familiarity with a broad range of specialties including psychiatry, neurology, endocrinology, cardiology, dermatology, and critical care experience is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care and education. Ability to work effectively in inpatient and outpatient settings within a hospital or clinic environment. Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications in interventional radiography or neurocritical care are advantageous.
