  • Position Overview
  • The Primary Care Physician Assistant will support the MD in delivering comprehensive primary care services within a Direct Primary Care model. The PA will provide patient evaluations, manage chronic and acute conditions, perform procedures, and educate patients, ensuring a high standard of care in a personalized, accessible setting.

  • Phlebotomy Skills
  • Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the MD.
  • Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
  • Perform minor procedures as appropriate within scope of practice.
  • Provide patient education on disease prevention, wellness, and health maintenance.
  • Assist in medication management, including prescribing under physician supervision.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice workflow optimization.
  • Foster strong patient relationships emphasizing continuity of care and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with the MD and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
  • Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current and unrestricted PA license in the state of practice.
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Experience or interest in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine preferred.
  • Knowledge of Direct Primary Care principles and patient-centered care models is a plus.
  • Strong clinical skills with ability to manage a broad range of medical conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
  • Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) and basic office technology.
