Job Description
Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Professional Rater II to support an innovative precision medicine trial in primary care clinics. This multi-level study aims to improve clinical practices and patient outcomes related to tobacco treatment, including increasing treatment uptake and overall effectiveness. In this role, you will work directly with patients and physicians, playing a key part in implementing and evaluating study procedures. Responsibilities include participant recruitment, obtaining informed consent, and data collection. You will also assist in training clinical and research staff on study protocols. This position offers a dynamic mix of remote and on-site work at our medical center, providing opportunities for hands-on experience in clinical research and patient interaction within a collaborative and mission-driven team.
Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Recruits, interviews, screens and schedules subjects for study per protocol. Documents case history, charts and test scores using PC computer systems. Performs phlebotomy and other testing in accordance with study guidelines. Plans and implements study phases, day-to-day in-house and field operations and trouble shoots case processes. Administers/scores tests, prepares/edits progress reports and attends meetings, providing case statistical analysis. May participate in training of Professional Rater I. Proficient in using PC-based computer programs and applications. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Monitors and orders supplies necessary for study. Delivers study samples to lab for testing. Prepares information packets for patients enrolled in study. Ability to exercise sound judgment and make effective decisions. Performs other duties as assigned.Working Conditions:
