Job Description

Precise Behavioral, Inc. is hiring! We are seeking a dedicated tele-psychiatrist to join our team and provide exceptional OnDemand mental health care to our patients. As a psychiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing health care services for patients with behavioral and mental health conditions. Precise Behavioral (Precise) was established to revolutionize the behavioral healthcare ecosystem for patients, providers, and health plans. Precise is a physician-owned and led organization that enables a mix of digital, telehealth, in-person, and community resources for improved patient outcomes.
Scope of job:
Psychiatrist will conduct OnDemand psychiatry consultations for patients in the Emergency Department and Med-Surg units for Hospitals in PA.
Schedule :
Shifts are 12 hours at a rate of $150+ per consult.
Duties:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for the ED/Med-surg unit Responsible for conducting ED/Med-surg unit OnDemand consults for Hospitals Develop and implement treatment plans for patients Provide ongoing medication management and monitoring Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records Prescribe medications as necessary
Requirements:
Medical degree from an accredited institution MD/DO required Current inpatient experience at an acute care facility Completion of a psychiatry residency program Board certification in psychiatry is required Valid medical license in the state of Pennsylvania Active Pennsylvania DEA This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals seeking mental health care.
