  • Full-time Job Overview over 330k plus sign on 25k for day shift, Nocturnist 100k sign on We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hospitalist to join our healthcare team.
The Hospitalist will be responsible for managing the care of hospitalized patients, collaborating with specialists, and ensuring high-quality medical care throughout the patient's stay. This role requires a strong understanding of acute care medicine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 13-15 patients or less per shift, May leave hospital 5days of the 7 day shift after rounding 4hrs. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Manage the care of patients admitted to the hospital, including monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment as necessary. Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Perform necessary medical procedures such as spinal taps and triage assessments. Document patient information accurately in medical records and ensure compliance with coding standards. Provide education to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care. Participate in hospital rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases. Stay updated on advancements in medical practices related to acute care and hospital medicine. Skills Proficient in acute care management and emergency response protocols. Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology. Experience with coding for medical billing purposes is preferred. Ability to perform triage effectively in high-pressure situations. Familiarity with vascular radiography techniques is a plus. Knowledge of pediatric neuropsychology principles is beneficial for managing younger patients. Experience in hospice care settings is an advantage for providing compassionate end-of-life care. Skills in immunization practices are desirable for patient health management.
