This busy emergency department runs constant overlapping physician coverage ensuring physicians average no more than 2 patients per hour. Everything that ensures smooth patient flow including fast track area, hospitalists to admit patients and strong specialty back up. Physicians are initially group employees and receive a competitive hourly rate plus full suite of benefits including health, life, CME allowance, 401K, etc. After just 12 months, physicians are given partnership (guaranteed with no buy-in) and gain access to profit sharing.
