The hospital is home to a level II nursery for ill or premature newborns, a maternal-fetal telemedicine program for high-risk pregnancies, and home-like labor, delivery and recovery rooms. Together with other facilities in its system, the hospital delivers more babies than any other hospital in the area. This is a 2.0 coverage program so two OBHG Physicians are on site 24/7. Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital is a new full-service facility serving the Berkeley County community. It is home to a labor, delivery and postpartum unit.
