Job Description
What We Offer Supervises and coordinates all functions and activities related to the operations of a physician practice. In addition is responsible for insurance verification and eligibility, assessment of patient financial requirements, counseling patients on insurance benefits and co-payments. Obtains all pre-authorizations of services and maintains accurate patient demographics.
What We're Looking For Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required.Experience:
Minimum two years in healthcare with one year in supervisory, required. Additional Skills (required): Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures. Knowledge of fiscal management and human resource management techniques. Knowledge of office management techniques and practices. Knowledge of computer systems and applications. Skill in gathering, analyzing, and evaluating data. Skill in written and verbal communication. Ability to apply policies and principles to solve everyday problems and deal with a variety of situations. Ability to exercise initiative, problem-solving, decision-making. Ability to read, interpret and apply clinic policies and procedures. Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions. Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities. Knowledge of medical billing and collection practices. Knowledge of drugs and supplies utilized in the practice. Additional Skills (preferred): Leadership development Why Choose Novant Health?
