Job Description

Pathology Opening in Tennessee Located in Johnson City, TennesseeA pathology opening is available in Johnson City, Tennessee with a growing private practice providing comprehensive diagnostic services across a wide regional network. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established group with academic involvement and partnership potential. About the Position
  • Full-time private practice position-General AP/CP pathology with community hospital-based sign-out-Opportunity for partnership track or non-partnership track-Academic affiliation with a regional medical school Practice Highlights
  • Join a team of 11 pathologists-Provide diagnostic services to hospitals, outpatient clinics, surgical centers, and private practices-Frozen sections and rapid on-site cytology evaluations-Participation in tumor boards and cancer conferences-Occasional collaboration with pathology residents-Subspecialty focus opportunities, including hematopathology Work-Life Balance
  • Only 5-6 call weeks per year-No autopsies-Balanced workload with emphasis on quality diagnostics Qualifications
  • MD or DO-Board Certified in AP/CP-Eligible for medical licensure in Tennessee and Virginia-Strong diagnostic and communication skills-Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Compensation and Benefits
