Evaluation and management of emergency medical conditions across all age groups Stabilization and treatment of medium acuity cases Coordination with specialty services as clinically indicated
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses:
Active Tennessee Medical License Board:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine (Board Certification Preferred)
DEA:
Active Tennessee DEA Required Certifications:
ACLS, ATLS, and PALS Required if
Not ABEM Certified Experience:
Prior Emergency Medicine Experience Preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care in a community hospital setting Manage patient flow in a 24-hour physician coverage model Collaborate with NP/PA providers and multidisciplinary staff Document all encounters accurately within McKesson•Allscripts EMR Ensure compliance with hospital policies and quality standards
