- Part-time Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated internal medicine or family medicine physician with hospitalist background or interest to join our growing team.
This position is aimed at providing high-quality medical care in the skilled nursing facility settings. It is ideal for a physician who is a hospitalist at Methodist Hospital in Boerne and would like a small mount of part time work. Our practice has been growing organically in the last two years, and we are proud of our exceptionally low turnover rate . We offer a highly competitive salary. Please note that the listed salary is based on a full-time equivalent for this position. This role offers flexible work options of 4 rounding days per month , providing the physician with flexibility. During the day, each facility is supported by a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who rounds regularly, resulting in a minimal number of phone calls or messages to the physician. There are no overnight call duties. Key Responsibilities and Requirements Conduct timely and thorough admission and follow-up visits. Occasionally respond to calls, texts, and other requests from the facilities.
