Job Description

General Neurologist - San Antonio, TX Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Board-Certified General Neurologist to join a growing healthcare team in New Braunfels, TX. The ideal candidate will diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological conditions and perform neurodiagnostic procedures, including Electroencephalograms (EEGs) and Electromyography (EMGs). This role offers a balanced mix of clinical care and procedural expertise, providing comprehensive neurological care in an outpatient-focused setting. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and treat disorders of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles Conduct comprehensive neurological examinations and interpret findings Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress Provide high-quality, patient-centered neurological care Procedural Duties Perform and interpret Electroencephalograms (EEGs) Conduct Electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies Evaluate neuromuscular disorders and peripheral nerve conditions Stay current with advancements in neurology and neurodiagnostic technology Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Completion of an accredited Neurology Residency Board Certification in Neurology (ABPN or equivalent) Proficiency in performing and interpreting EEGs and EMGs Strong clinical and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Commitment to patient-centered care Preferred Skills Familiarity with Neurology CPT Coding (e.g., 99204, 99214, 95886, 95913) Experience in outpatient neurology clinic Ability to manage workflow efficiently and reduce no-show rates EMR and documentation experience Compensation & Benefits Competitive Compensation Competitive base salary Productivity-based incentives / bonus structure Sign-on bonus (if applicable) Relocation assistance (if applicable) Comprehensive Benefits Package Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer contribution Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays CME Allowance and Paid CME Time Malpractice Insurance with tail coverage Licensing and credentialing support Professional development opportunities
