Our care center has 1 Physician, 5 exam rooms, a state-of-the-art Infusion Suite with 4 chairs, Quest Labs on-site, Clinical Research, and a dedicated staff. We specializes in treating general Rheumatology, Rheumatoid arthritis, Polymyalgia Rheumatica, Osteoporosis, Gout, Lupus, Osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia, and more. If you are a motivated healthcare professional who is a critical thinker and takes pride in delivering high touch, compassionate care while building rapport with chronic disease patients in a smaller team setting, we invite you to apply. Responsibilities Examine patients and their medical records Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.) Diagnose and Propose treatments for autoimmune and arthritic diseases Prescribe medications, IV Infusion Treatments, and Access Mediports Maintain accurate records and schedules Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications Educate patients and their family members on diseases and treatment plans Oversee patients' overall health and promote good health practices Advance professional knowledge and conduct research Other duties as assigned by collaborating physician Requirements New grads or experienced Nurse Practitioner in Rheumatology, Internal Medicine, Orthopedics, Nephrology, or Primary Care preferred Bilingual
- English and Spanish preferred Strong IV access skills, including peripheral IV catheter placement and accessing/managing implanted vascular access devices (Mediports/Port-a-Caths). Knowledge of health and patient care regulations Excellent communication skills
- verbal and written Strong ethics, integrity, and reliable Team player with a positive attitude, patience and optimism Exhibits curiosity and a willingness to learn Valid Texas Nurse Practitioner & DEA license
