Job Description

OB/GYN Hospitalist Location:
Houston, Texas Overview Join a hospital-based OB/GYN Hospitalist team and focus on delivering high-quality inpatient care in a structured, team-supported environment. This role offers a predictable schedule of approximately seven 24-hour shifts per month, providing a strong balance between clinical practice and time outside of work. This position is ideal for physicians who enjoy hospital-based obstetrics, value collaborative team coverage, and are looking for consistency in their schedule while maintaining a dynamic clinical scope. Key Responsibilities Provide hospital-based obstetric and emergent gynecologic care Manage labor and delivery for patients within the regional OB/GYN provider group Perform scheduled labor inductions and planned C-sections Round on inpatient obstetric patients Collaborate within a regional OB/GYN team to ensure consistent coverage and continuity of care Schedule 24-hour hospital shifts Approximately 7 shifts per month Includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays About Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family of businesses, is a physician-led multispecialty group with more than 900 providers across 65 specialties and over 40 locations throughout the Houston area.
