Inpatient Key Responsibilities:

Inpatient Care :

Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in an inpatient setting. Manage and oversee pediatric patients in a 3-bed pediatric unit and a 14-bed nursery.

Call Coverage :

24-hour call shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., ensuring continuous care for pediatric patients. Be available for admissions and other inpatient needs during on-call hours. Participate in both patient rounding and emergency care as needed.

Practice Details:

Certification and Licensure :

Board Certification :

Required for the Pediatric Hospitalist role.

Licensure :

Must be licensed in Texas or eligible for licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).

Certifications :

BLS and PALS certifications are required; ABLS, ACLS, and ATLS are not necessary.

Credentialing Timeframe :

Estimated at 30 days.
