Job Description

Description Job Summary We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Family Medicine team in New Braunfels, TX . This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care in a collaborative outpatient setting while also supporting patients with select obstetrical needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building long-term patient relationships and delivering high-quality care across a broad patient population. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive family medicine services, including preventive care, acute visits, and chronic disease management Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across the lifespan Perform wellness exams, routine screenings, and follow-up visits Manage common primary care conditions and coordinate specialty referrals as needed Support obstetrical patients as part of a collaborative care team Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies Educate patients on disease prevention, medications, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care Qualifications Current Texas license as a Physician Assistant National certification (ANCC, or NCCPA) Previous family medicine or primary care experience preferred Obstetrical experience preferred Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based environment Schedule & Compensation Full-time outpatient schedule Competitive compensation based on experience Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, malpractice coverage, PTO, CME allowance, and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match
