Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled General and Interventional Cardiologist to join our dedicated cardiovascular team. IThis position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative environment committed to excellence in cardiovascular health. Duties Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterizations, including coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI). Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with cardiovascular conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and hypertension Perform and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitoring) Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medications and lifestyle modifications Provide preventive cardiology care and patient education on heart health Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, cardiac surgeons, and specialists Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records Stay current with advancements in cardiology and evidence-based practices Engage in clinical research activities to advance interventional cardiology practices and contribute to ongoing medical trials. Requirements Medical degree from an accredited institution with board certification in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. Proven experience performing complex cardiac catheterizations, vascular interventional radiography, and related procedures. Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology techniques relevant to cardiology. Proficiency with EHR systems such as Epic or comparable platforms for documentation and patient management. Critical care experience including airway management, ICU protocols, and post-operative care is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical imaging modalities including CT scans, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic radiology. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately in high-pressure situations.
