Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician to join our clinical research team as a Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (Sub-I) on a contractual basis. This role is ideal for a physician interested in contributing to cutting-edge clinical trials in Internal medicine while maintaining flexibility with remote and in-person commitments. As a Principal or Sub-Investigator , you will provide medical oversight for clinical trials with strong support from our experienced research coordinators and fellow investigators.
Key duties include:
Perform physical exams and medical assessments on study participants. Review lab results, ECGs, spirometry reports, and other clinical data as required by Study Protocols and Sponsors. Confirm participant eligibility and ensure protocol compliance. Provide oversight for participant safety and study-related adverse events. Participate in required study visits and meetings (remote or on-site) as needed and as required by Sponsors. Collaborate with coordinators and other Sub-Investigators to support trial activities. Review and sign off on study documentation in accordance with GCP.
Requirements:
Valid Government-Issued Photo ID or Driver's License Active, Unrestricted Medical License (never suspended or revoked) Board Certification in Internal Medicine Willingness and ability to conduct both remote and on-site visits Prior clinical research experience preferred but not mandatory Strong communication and documentation skills Commitment to ethical research conduct and GCP adherence
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator GCP Certification (can be obtained upon hire)
