Movement Disorders Neurologist Round Rock, Texas (Greater Austin Area) Position Summary An established outpatient neurology and clinical research program in Round Rock, Texas just outside of Austin is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Movement Disorders Neurologist to join a growing subspecialty movement disorders program. This opportunity offers immediate access to a substantial referral base and established patient waitlist, along with advanced procedural infrastructure, active industry-sponsored clinical trials, and collaboration with an established movement disorders researcher with extensive sponsor relationships and regional recognition. The ideal candidate will have fellowship training in Movement Disorders or a strong clinical background and sustained interest in movement disorders care. This role is intentionally structured around movement disorders medicine with the opportunity to participate in meaningful clinical research within an established operational infrastructure. Opportunity Highlights Established and growing movement disorders referral base Immediate access to a substantial patient waitlist Outpatient-only practice Monday-Friday schedule DBS programming support with all major device manufacturers Established in-office botulinum toxin program Active industry-sponsored clinical research program Dedicated research coordinators and operational support Collaboration with an established movement disorders researcher Structured clinical ramp-up and strong operational infrastructure Physician-centered practice environment emphasizing collaboration and subspecialty development Clinical Responsibilities Responsibilities include evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and longitudinal management of patients with movement disorders, including but not limited to: Parkinson's disease Atypical parkinsonian syndromes Essential tremor Dystonia Dyskinesias Advanced movement disorders management The physician will also participate in: DBS programming Botulinum toxin procedures Movement disorders consultative care There is flexibility to incorporate selected general neurology interests based on physician background and preferences; however, the primary focus of the role will remain movement disorders medicine. Clinical Research Participation This position is designed to support long-term participation in movement disorders and related neurologic clinical research. The physician will have access to: Established sponsor relationships Dedicated research coordinators and operational support Existing and upcoming movement disorders clinical trials Built-in research patient flow from an established referral base and waitlist Opportunities to participate as Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (Sub-I) Research participation may be tailored based on physician experience and long-term interests. Practice Environment The physician will join a collaborative outpatient neurology group supported by: Dedicated Medical Assistant support Established referral pipelines Structured clinical ramp-up NP support as the physician panel matures In-office DBS programming infrastructure In-office toxin program support Experienced research operations team Administrative support for scheduling, referrals, and research coordination The practice emphasizes collaborative culture, sustainable subspecialty growth, and physician support.
