Scope of Responsibility The Office Coordinator will also ensure efficient appointment scheduling occurs as you will answer phone calls, take messages and direct calls to the appropriate person. Responsible to the Executive Director of Clinical Operations Education High School graduate or equivalent Training and Experience Minimum one year experience in healthcare facility, physician office, or urgent care setting Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of employees, management, visitors and outside sources Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required Experience with insurance verification and preauthorization Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current insurance coverage Health and Background Requirements Employment contingent upon successful completion of: Background Check Lab Work Immunization Records Rarely (Less than ½ hour per day) Occasionally (½ to 2 ½ hour per day) Frequently (2 ½ to 5 ½ hours per day) Continually (5 ½ to 8 hours per day) Not Applicable Physical Sitting
