Essential Functions:

Diagnosis, treats, and provides care for patients. Manages and coordinates patient care across specialists and providers. Orders and interprets tests. Prescribes medication and treatment regimens. Educates patients and their families. Conducts discharge planning and writes discharge summaries. Refers patients to medical specialists, social services, or other professionals. Participates in continuing education activities to maintain or enhance knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

Requires Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. Requires current BLS certification upon hire. Requires ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
