Hospitalist Medicine APP Near Missouri City, TX Job ID:

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for a locum tenens position in Hospitalist Medicine near Missouri City, Texas. This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated APP looking to work in a dynamic healthcare setting with a flexible schedule. The position involves working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Ongoing Schedule:
7 days on, 7 days off rotation Day shifts: 7:00 AM
  • 7:00 PM with 5 physicians and 2 APPs Swing shift: 10:00 AM
  • 10:00 PM with 1 physician Night shifts: 7:00 PM
  • 7:00 AM with 1 physician and 1
APP Nocturnist Responsibilities Patient Care:
Provide comprehensive care to hospitalized patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of various conditions.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with a team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Documentation:
Utilize the EMR system to document patient care and communicate with the healthcare team effectively.
Orientation:
Participate in a one-day orientation, including a shadow shift for hands-on learning and EMR training.
Qualifications Board Certification:
Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM).
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospitalist or similar setting.
Licensure:
Must have an active medical license in the state of Texas or be eligible to obtain one.
Competencies:
Competent in handling a wide range of medical conditions and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. Why Join Us?
