Primary Responsibilities:

Consulting with patients to understand their health concerns Performing specialized tests to diagnose and treat patients Evidence-based approach with appropriate use of endoscopic procedures, CT scan, MRI, Ultrasound, and other tests Minimal Shared Hospital Call and Office Call What makes an Optum Career different? Required Qualifications:

Medical Degree (MD, DO, M.B.B.S) Licensed or willing to be licensed in the State of Texas Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment

Preferred Qualification:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
