Job Description

Overview Oaks Medical Group is 100% physician- owned and operated. No hospital or private equity ownership. All physicians have a voice in governance and strategic direction. Headquartered in Bountiful, Utah This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care services in a collaborative environment. You will be at the forefront of patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, utilizing advanced medical technologies and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems to deliver exceptional care. Your dedication will help foster healthier communities and improve quality of life for diverse patient populations. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and develop personalized care plans. Manage acute and chronic illnesses across a broad spectrum of medical conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, respiratory issues, and dermatological concerns. Utilize EHR system Athena to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate inpatient and outpatient care, including hospital medicine and post-acute care services. Perform procedures such as suturing, joint injections, cerumen removal, etc Provide health coaching, immunizations, preventive screenings, and patient education to promote wellness and disease prevention. Work with our ACO and other quality programs to increase quality of care for patients Requirements Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid licensure to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction. Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Strong knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Ability to perform clinical procedures including suturing, IV infusion, airway management, and wound care confidently. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and education Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and security of patient information.
