IMMEDIATELY
for our client in beautiful, sunny California!!! Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Family Physician role located in CA. The Family Physician will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care visits. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and coordinating care with specialists and other healthcare professionals. The clinician will also address urgent care needs as appropriate, support community health initiatives, and maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record. The role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, participating in quality improvement efforts, and ensuring care is delivered in a patient-centered, culturally responsive manner.
Locations of work:
Downtown Los Angeles, Huntington Park, Hawthorne and Wilmington Patient Load:
20-22/day (on average 18-20) Scheduling details will be discussed during meeting with our client. Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Family Medicine and Primary Care, providing comprehensive care across the lifespan. Ability to manage Urgent Care needs, including evaluation and treatment of common acute conditions and minor procedures. Experience or strong interest in Community Health, including serving diverse populations and addressing social determinants of health. Solid foundation in general Medicine, with the ability to coordinate care with specialists and manage complex medical conditions. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine. Active or eligible California State medical license and DEA registration. Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and interpersonal skills with a commitment to equity, inclusion, and respectful patient care. Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment. Current BLS (and preferably ACLS) certification.
