Job Description

Job Summary and Responsibilities As our General Cardiologist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-value, top-quality cardiac care across two thriving hospital campuses, Holy Cross Hospital West Valley and Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley. This exceptional opportunity allows you to immerse yourself in a physician-centric environment, where comprehensive support resources empower you to focus on direct patient engagement and clinical excellence in cardiology. Every day you will provide expert general cardiology services primarily based out of Holy Cross Hospital West Valley, with responsibilities also extending to Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley, conveniently located just 15 minutes apart. Your weekly schedule will include 36 dedicated patient hours, supported by on-site lab facilities for essential tests like INRs and robust Advanced Practice Provider (APP) assistance. A significant advantage of this role is the absence of on-call duties, allowing for a predictable work-life balance. To be successful in this role, you will be a board-certified or board-eligible General Cardiologist, committed to upholding the highest standards of medical ethics and customary practice. You will possess exceptional clinical skills, a patient-centered approach, and a passion for delivering compassionate and effective cardiovascular care within a collaborative team setting.
Delivers High-Quality Patient Care and Documentation:
Physicians provide superior ambulatory care, conducting examinations, services, and maintaining meticulous medical records in accordance with all policies, including those for managed care, Medicare, and Medicaid. Adheres to
Regulatory and Ethical Standards:
Physicians strictly comply with all federal and state reimbursement plans, the ethical and religious directives of sponsoring entities, and the Hospital's comprehensive policies, procedures, and medical staff bylaws, rules, and regulations. Engages in
Quality Improvement and Peer Review:
Physicians actively participate in clinical and quality improvement initiatives, contribute to physician peer review, utilization review, and serve on medical staff committees as assigned to enhance overall service delivery. Contributes to
Operational Excellence and Professional Growth:
Physicians advise on operational matters, including personnel, business oversight, and equipment evaluation, while maintaining professional competence through continuous medical education and board certification, staying abreast of the latest medical developments. We are offering an attractive compensation package, including a $601,252 guaranteed base salary, a substantial $55,142 sign-on bonus, $15,000 relocation assistance, $30,000 student loan repayment, CME funds, flexible time away, and a generous 401(k) with match.
