  • Located in Abingdon, Virginia An infectious disease opening is available in Abingdon, Virginia with an established and busy hospital-employed group. This position offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care along with the opportunity to help expand telehealth services.

  • Mix of inpatient consults and outpatient care
  • Opportunity to help grow an infectious disease telehealth program
  • Clinical Responsibilities
  • Inpatient consults and follow-up care
  • Outpatient hospital follow-ups
  • Management of newly diagnosed HIV patients
  • Ongoing HIV care and follow-up from local health departments and clinics
  • Practice Highlights
  • Strong referral base and consistent patient volume
  • Collaborative environment with hospital and outpatient providers

  • Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Virginia
