Locum - Physician - Obstetrics/Gynecology

Job OB/GYN Locum Opportunity:

Seeking coverage for 4-8 24-hour in-house call shifts per month.

Start date:

August.

Contract length:

6 months. Will allow providers to work two consecutive 24-hour call shifts.

Work Details:

Coverage includes: Labor & Delivery services. Unassigned OB/GYN hospital call.

Busy practice environment averaging:

70-75 deliveries per month. 20-25 non-obstetrical surgeries monthly. Providers will be expected to manage residents.

Practice setting includes both:

Clinic. Hospital.

EMR:

EPIC.

Support Staff:

5 Board-Certified OB/GYN physicians. 5 Advanced Clinical Practitioners. 1 Certified Nurse Midwife. Strong specialist and hospital support team available.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Active VA license required. DEA required. OB/GYN core procedures with minor gynecologic surgery experience.

Preferred certifications:

EFM. NRP. PALS.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience preferred, with stronger preference for 5+ years.

Additional Details:

Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days. Name clear process required. Travel, airfare, lodging, and rental car covered.
