ED Ed Beds:
10 10 monitored closed-door rooms with three room fast track ED has priority to 128-slice CT machine Primary Stroke Center TPA given with tele-neurology 18% pediatric patients 14% admission/transfer rate (combined true hospital admits and observation admits) Hospitalists admit 95% of patients in hospital Epic EMR ED is its own department Ultrasound machine in ED PACS reading on sight during daytime hours; in Richmond at nights and on weekends; 24-hour lab with 1 hour turnaround time Sedation agents include Propofal, Versed, Ketamine, Etomidate RN to patient ratio: 4 RNs to 8 beds (peak); 3 RNs to 8 beds (low) Splinting done by Physicians, RNs Community Surrounded by the waters of the Chesapeake Bay and the Rappahannock River, our community offers a blend of coastal living and small town charm without the crowds or congestion of city life.
