Job Description

Inova Health System is looking for a dedicated Outpatient Child Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the team. Inova Behavioral Health supports Inova's overall mission, promoting total wellness - mind and body - by offering a full spectrum of mental health and addiction treatment services to the surrounding Northern Virginia and Washington, DC, metropolitan community. Inova Kellar Center has provided behavioral health services for children, adolescents and their families for more than 35 years. Our comprehensive mental health and substance use treatment programs and an innovative special education school support families throughout Northern Virginia and continues to expand to meet future needs. The Center was founded in 1991 in partnership with Inova and visionaries Art and Betty Kellar, who had a strong commitment to serve children and families in the multicultural Northern Virginia region. Inova Kellar Center provides a full continuum of outpatient services and programs besides medication management clinic (including M edications for O pioid U se D isorder clinic) as listed below .

Northern Virginia:
An inpatient adolescent psychiatry and several Adult inpatient psychiatry with inpatient detoxification programs; Adult partial hospitalization programs (PHP); intensive outpatient programs (IOP); Adult outpatient medication management clinic and counseling services including Behavioral Health Services Integrated with Specialty Care and Neuromodulation clinic. At Inova Kellar Center we have a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team that consists of: BC Child Psychiatrists; Licensed Therapists/mental health professionals including Trauma specialists; Clinical Psychologists; Psychiatric Nursing team and Mental Health Technicians.

Additional Requirements:
Education:
Doctor of Medicine degree or Doctor of Osteopathic degree from an accredited institution AND Board Certified or Board Eligible in
Child Psychiatry Experience:
Successful completion of an ACGME physician residency and child fellowship program
Licensure:
Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the
State of Virginia and Virginia DEA Credentialing:
Payer Credentialing:
Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enroll as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor.
Medical Staff Credentialing :
Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services.
Other Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with managing Substance Use disorders (Prescribing Suboxone) or Board eligible/Certified in Addictions Psychiatry.
