Pain Management Physician BC/BE Job location: Lorton, VA Job type: Full-time /
On-site Shift:
Days Job description: We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pain Management Physician to join our growing multidisciplinary team. This full-time role will provide services across our Lorton and Fredericksburg locations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in interventional pain procedures, a commitment to evidence-based care, and a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary treatment. This position focuses on procedural and rehabilitative pain management and is not primarily medication management-based. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions, including musculoskeletal, vascular, and post-surgical pain. Perform advanced interventional pain procedures, including but not limited to: Epidural steroid injections Facet joint injections Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) Spinal cord stimulator trials Peripheral nerve blocks Trigger point injections Develop individualized, comprehensive treatment plans incorporating interventional techniques and rehabilitative therapies (PT/OT).
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Completion of an accredited residency in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), or a related specialty. Fellowship training in Pain Medicine (required). Board-certified or board-eligible in Pain Medicine. Unrestricted Virginia medical license (or eligibility to obtain). Active DEA registration and controlled substance license. Strong clinical, procedural, and communication skills. Commitment to patient-centered, multidisciplinary care.
