Part-Time Physiatrist (PM&R)

Flexible, part-time About the Opportunity We are a growing physiatry group seeking a part-time Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician to provide oversight and periodic rounding services across Skilled Nursing Facilities in the Richmond, VA area. This is a flexible, low-time-commitment role supported by experienced Nurse Practitioners and a strong operational team—ideal for physicians seeking additional income, autonomy, and the opportunity to grow with an expanding regional platform. Key Responsibilities Provide SNF rounding and physiatry consultations Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners Perform functional, mobility, and pain evaluations Participate in interdisciplinary care planning Support post-acute rehabilitation patients Perform procedures as appropriate (e.g., joint injections, trigger point injections) Prescribe and manage medications related to pain and rehabilitation care Position Highlights Flexible scheduling with minimal time commitment Monthly oversight model Strong clinical and administrative support Opportunity for increased involvement and growth over time Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Active Virginia license (or ability to obtain) Experience in SNF, rehab, or post-acute care preferred
