Surgery Trauma Job Summary:
We are assisting in the recruitment of a highly skilled and compassionate Trauma Surgeon to join our trauma team at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. Exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our strong practice while living in one of the region's most desirable communities.
Qualified Candidates:
Board Eligible / Board Certified General Surgery with Trauma/ Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Required Must have Virginia license or ability to obtain Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Incentive/Benefits Competitive Compensation and benefits Professional development opportunities Strong and collaborative work environment Relocation assistance available
Trauma Program:
Two trauma surgeons per day and night surgeon in-house Trauma service covers acute care surgery High volume trauma (90% blunt and 10% penetrating)
About Chippenham Hospital:
466-bed Level l Trauma Center and Level l Burn Center 65-bed Emergency Department 12-bed dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department 15 operating rooms 4 endoscopy labs with Olympus
EUS, EBUS, ERCP
scopes Tucker Pavilion - 137 beds dedicated to inpatient acute behavioral health care Levinson Heart Institute with four dedicated cardiac ORs, three interventional catheterization and three electrophysiology labs About the
