Position Summary The Allergy Technician is responsible for rendering professional clinical care within the medical practice in support of and as directed by the physicians and/or Practice Administrator. The Allergy Technician performs specialized duties, including allergy testing, preparation of custom allergy serums, and injections when necessary. The ideal candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate outstanding communications skills and be very detail-oriented in keeping accurate records. This individual should also want to learn new processes and help educate our patients in the benefits of immunotherapy. Key Responsibilities Be knowledgeable in all aspects of immunotherapy including testing, mixing, injections etc.Test and treat patients for allergy-related problems in a caring manner.
