Job Description

Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA is seeking BC/BE Hospitalist to join a well-established and growing team of Hospitalists in our mission to improve the health of the communities we serve. Practice includes inpatient management and consultations in a large tertiary care hospital. You will have the strong support of Carilion Clinic's 650+ physician-led multi-specialty group serving over 1.25 million throughout southwest Virginia for over 100 years.
Highlights include:
40+ member group 7 on/7 off schedule; 182 shifts annually Work-life balance with outdoor recreation and paid vacation Part-time hours and job sharing available Nocturnist and Swing shift also available No outpatient responsibilities Intensivist Program in place for ICU patients 15 APP providers 703-bed academic/tertiary center with Level I Trauma; helipad Teaching opportunities available;23 GME programs Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine Flagship hospital for 8-hospital system Opportunity to moonlight at other Carilion hospitals Roanoke is a metropolitan area of over 300,000 located within the southern tip of Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, 3-1/2 hours south of D.C. via Interstate 81. The regional airport offers easy flights to major hubs. The area offers a four-season playground for mountain and lake recreation, as well as a rich array of arts, humanities and cultural experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
Residency trained in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine( with focus on inpatient care). DOs Welcome!
