Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital Schedule:

7 on/ 7 off (7a-7p) Daily co-management of ED behavioral health patients Inpatient consults on behavioral, medical, and surgical units Virtual consult support to lower-volume facilities No inpatient psych admissions (handled by dedicated inpatient psychiatrists) Strong interdisciplinary support: APPs, therapists, navigators, case managers Key Responsibilities Psychiatric consultation for complex medical and co-occurring conditions Diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning Medication management and crisis intervention Collaborative, team-based care across hospital services Supervision of APPs and students as needed
