Renal Physician Associates of Winchester Nephrologist - Full-Time Position Winchester, Virginia | Board Certified / Board Eligible | Private Group Practice About the Practice Renal Physician Associates of Winchester is a well-established, physician-owned nephrology group serving the Northern Shenandoah Valley. We are seeking a fifth full-time BC/BE Nephrologist to join our growing team of four physicians and two nurse practitioners. This addition reflects continued growth and rising patient demand across our service area. Our practice delivers comprehensive outpatient consultative care, inpatient hospital coverage at a single regional tertiary center, and dialysis services-in-center, home, and nocturnal-across four dialysis facilities, supported by a strong ancillary staff and referral network. Through our telehealth program, we extend nephrology coverage to rural hospitals within the Valley Health system, broadening our reach across the region. Position Details Full-time, 100% nephrology practice - no general internal medicine or hospitalist responsibilities Outpatient consultative care, single tertiary hospital coverage, and dialysis management Telehealth nephrology coverage provided to rural hospitals within the Valley Health network Four dialysis centers: in-center, home, and nocturnal dialysis populations Dedicated hospital, clinic, and dialysis schedule with minimal travel between sites 1:5 call schedule - very manageable with rare after-hours callbacks Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Sign-on bonus offered to qualified candidates Four weeks vacation plus one week CME with CME allowance Comprehensive health insurance including full family coverage Life insurance and long-term disability coverage 401(k) with profit sharing plan Paid DEA registration, malpractice insurance, and state licensing fees Career Development We are proud to offer one of the most transparent and rewarding partnership tracks in the region: 2-year track to partnership with no buy-in required Potential Medical directorship opportunities available upon achieving partnership Excellent physician retention record and a strong history of successful partnership transitions Location & Lifestyle Winchester, VA offers an exceptional quality of life with a low cost of living, excellent public and private schools, and a welcoming family-friendly community.
