We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist with an Internal Medicine subspecialty for a locum tenens position near Garfield, Washington. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced physician looking to provide high-quality care in a flexible, supportive environment.

Position Overview:

Start Date:

Duration:

Ongoing, with the possibility of permanent placement

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM No nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities

Setting:

Primarily outpatient, with the option for inpatient care

Patients Per Shift:

Approximately 5

Position Requirements:

Board Certification in Gastroenterology with a subspecialty in Internal Medicine is required Active Washington State medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) ACLS and BLS certifications required Fellowship training preferred but not mandatory Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days

Practice Environment:

Collaborative, multidisciplinary team that includes: 1 Registered Nurse (RN) 2 Medical Assistants (MAs) 2 Advanced Practice Providers (PA/NP) Office staff of 8 No supervisory or teaching responsibilities

Procedures :

Upper GI endoscopy Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision ERCP (therapeutic and diagnostic) Small bowel biopsy Optional outpatient procedures
