Locums About the Facility This outpatient treatment clinic operates as part of a group practice, providing specialized hematology and oncology services with coordinated clinical support. The facility maintains an on-site team of medical oncologists and advanced practice providers to support daily clinical operations. The practice environment is structured to facilitate efficient outpatient cancer and blood disorder care delivery. About the Facility Location Puyallup, Washington, is a farming community recognized for its farm-fresh foods, outdoor attractions, and arts scene. The area offers destinations such as Pioneer Park, the Puyallup Farmers Market, and Wild Waves Theme and Water Park, along with family-oriented activities including mini golf and laser tag. The Washington State Fair stands as a notable landmark of the community's agricultural heritage. About the Clinician's Workday The hematologist/oncologist will provide outpatient general hematology and oncology care 2-3 days per week in 8-10 hour day shifts, managing 12-14 patients per day with no call or weekend coverage. Clinical responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and managing hematologic and oncologic conditions in an outpatient clinic setting. The clinician will be enrolled with payers and will document all patient encounters using the Flatiron - ONCO EMR system, with support available as needed. Board certification and an active Washington state license are required for this assignment.
