Opportunity:
One of our Client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Practice Physician with Obstetrics (OB) to join our growing healthcare team in Othello, Washington. This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive family medicine services while making a meaningful impact in an underserved rural community. As a Family Practice Physician with OB, you will deliver high-quality primary care services to patients of all ages, including preventive, acute, chronic, and maternity care. You will work alongside a collaborative team committed to improving community health outcomes and expanding access to care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient family medicine services. Deliver preventive, acute, and chronic disease management care. Perform obstetrical care, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum services. Maintain active hospital privileges at Othello Community Hospital. Participate in inpatient care, emergency call coverage, OB call, and hospital rounds. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and continuing medical education activities. Serve as a preceptor and mentor for medical trainees, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners when requested. Attend provider meetings, medical staff meetings, and organizational committees as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. Completion of Family Medicine residency training. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine. Active or eligible for Washington State Medical License. Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges. Experience providing Obstetrical care within a Family Medicine practice setting. Strong commitment to patient-centered, community-focused care. Preferred Experience practicing in a rural or community health setting. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Experience working with underserved or diverse patient populations.
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent clinical judgment and diagnostic skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
