Proliance Surgeons Proliance Orthopedic Associates (POA), a Division of Proliance Surgeons, is located 10 miles from Downtown Seattle in the suburb of Renton, WA. If you love the outdoors, you are 90 minutes away from a rain forest, many lakes, the Pacific Ocean, hiking and skiing across the state with great wineries to choose from. POA has 13 Orthopedic surgeons, 1 Primary Care sports medicine physician, 1 physiatrist, 1 occupational medicine physician, and 31 Mid-levels. Our main clinic is on the Valley Medical Center campus in Renton with 5 satellite clinics to cover a broad catchment area and a Bone and Joint Urgent Care open 7 days a week. Proliance Surgery Center at Valley, a fully staffed 6-room ASC opened in 2021, with total joints, shoulders, and sports surgeons consistently running two room flip rooms, and is one of the highest revenue ancillaries available to partners in the state. Position Summary Spine Surgeon specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions of the spine, including degenerative diseases, injuries, and deformities. This role involves both surgical and non-surgical care, with a focus on improving patient mobility, function, and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat spinal conditions (e.g., herniated discs, spinal stenosis, scoliosis) Perform surgical procedures such as spinal fusions, decompressions, and minimally invasive spine surgeries Develop individualized treatment plans, including non-surgical options when appropriate Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physical therapy, pain management, primary care) Educate patients and families on treatment options, risks, and recovery expectations Maintain accurate and timely medical records Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of residency in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery Fellowship training in Spine Surgery preferred Board certified or board eligible Active and unrestricted medical license Skills & Competencies Strong surgical and clinical decision-making skills Excellent communication and bedside manner Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care Attention to detail and precision
