Our team thrives on collaboration, clinical excellence, and improving the quality of life for our community in the Inland Northwest. We are looking for a dedicated, board-certified or board-eligible Nephrologist to join our growing provider team in Spokane. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled, collaborative, and patient-centric Nephrologist to lead clinical care within our thriving outpatient practice. In this role, you will diagnose and manage complex renal diseases, hypertension, and fluid/electrolyte disorders. You will provide medical leadership to our dedicated team of advanced practice providers (NPs/PAs) and specialized infusion RNs, driving high-quality patient outcomes while benefiting from a highly efficient, supportive administrative infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities Advanced Clinical Care:
Provide comprehensive outpatient consultation and longitudinal management for patients with all stages of chronic kidney disease (CKD), acute kidney injury, complex hypertension, and glomerular diseases.
Clinical Leadership & Supervision:
Serve as the collaborating physician for our team of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, providing guidance on complex cases and clinical protocols.
Infusion Protocol Management:
Direct and oversee the medical protocols for our on-site specialty infusion clinic, ensuring safe, evidence-based administration of specialized therapeutics.
Dialysis Oversight:
Manage and optimize care plans for patients requiring renal replacement therapies, coordinating closely with local dialysis centers.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
Work hand-in-hand with clinical staff, care coordinators, and referring primary care physicians to ensure seamless, holistic patient care across the Inland Northwest.
Qualifications Education & Board Status:
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited school of medicine ( Required ). Successful completion of an accredited Nephrology Fellowship program. Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Nephrology.
License/Certification:
Active, unencumbered medical license in the State of Washington (or eligible to obtain). Active DEA registration with full prescriptive authority.
Skills:
Exceptional clinical judgment, a strong desire to mentor mid-level providers, and excellent interpersonal skills to foster long-term patient and provider relationships.
