Job Description Excellent Opportunity for a Palliative Care Physician to practice in Janesville, WI! Close to Chicago, Madison, and Milwaukee! $245,000•$250,000
Opportunity:
Established and growing Palliative Care program
EPIC EMR
Vast multi-specialty referral sources 501c3 non-for-profit
Qualifications:
Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in a relevant field MD/DO board certified/board eligible Fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine preferred Skilled at providing exceptional care The ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team
Departmental Scope:
Join a collaborative interdisciplinary team, including: Palliative Care Physicians Advanced Practice Providers Palliative Care Nurses Social Workers Chaplain / Spiritual Care Case Management Practice within a hospital-based setting focused on: Inpatient palliative care consultations Symptom management and pain control Goals-of-care discussions with patients and families Advance care planning and end-of-life support Coordination of care across specialties Participation in interdisciplinary team meetings
