Job Overview:
Seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join an established outpatient primary care practice. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment. The position is strictly outpatient with no inpatient responsibilities.
Practice Details:
Outpatient-only practice No hospital admissions or inpatient rounding (hospitalist team in place) Call schedule: Phone-only, approximately 1 in 8 Separate call groups Established patient base and care team
What You Will Do:
Provide comprehensive primary care services for adult patients Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Perform preventive care, routine check-ups, and screenings Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests Coordinate care with specialists as needed Build long-term patient relationships
Required Qualifications:
MD or DO degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Eligible for or active Wisconsin medical license Strong clinical and diagnostic skills Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Interest or experience in geriatrics Experience managing complex and comorbid conditions Patient-focused approach with strong communication skills
Compensation Overview:
