Job Description
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to join our collaborative team. We welcome candidates with experience, expertise, and passion, and are incredibly flexible, welcoming recently trained fellows. A typical week includes office hours, inpatient rounds, and procedures. Call rotation for evenings and weekends for office patients and inpatients is shared among the Gastroenterologists and advanced practice providers. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, based on appropriate training:
Evaluation, diagnosis, consultation, treatment, and management of diseases and disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, including the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, pancreas, liver, gallbladder, and biliary system.
Patients who are receptive and compliantUpdated facilities and resourcesSupportive administrative team to assist in practice growthCollaborative medical staffQualifications and SkillsValid state of Wisconsin medical license.
Board eligible or board certified in the specialty-specific Board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association.
Completion of an ACGME accredited Residency training in Internal Medicine.
Completion of an ACGME accredited Fellowship in Gastroenterology.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to keep an open mind.
Innate curiosity, determination, and drive.
