Job Description
Join a well-established hospital medicine team in Martinsburg, West Virginia, as a locum tenens nocturnist. This position provides a consistent night schedule, a collaborative clinical environment, and the opportunity to deliver high-quality, community-focused inpatient care. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive overnight care for hospitalized adults Admit patients from the Emergency Department and manage inpatient admissions Perform history and physical examinations and develop treatment plans Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions overnight Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergent clinical needs Coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, and daytime hospitalists to ensure seamless continuity Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Active West Virginia medical license
