N/A We're looking for an Emergency Medicine physician to join a hospital team in White Hall, West Virginia, on a locum tenens basis from September 7, 2026 through March 8, 2027. You'll be working clinically in a 10-bed emergency department that sees roughly 10,000-12,000 patients a year, treating patients of all ages. Shifts are 12-hour blocks (7a-7p and 7p-7a), with a schedule that includes both days and nights; expect to work 12-14 shifts per month. You'll document care in Cerner and work closely with advanced practice providers who support the ED. Credentialing typically takes about 60 days. Candidates must be board certified, hold a DEA registration, and have current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. A Universal License via IMLC or a West Virginia temporary license is required. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing emergency care across the age spectrum, performing the clinical procedures required by the facility's privileging guidelines, collaborating with APPs to deliver comprehensive care, and maintaining accurate, timely electronic documentation in Cerner.
