Job Description

A thriving established gastroenterology practice in the Casper, Wyoming market is seeking an Outpatient GI Physician to join a well-organized and growing group. The practice operates an ambulatory surgery center and clinic in Casper, supported by more than 10 satellite centers throughout the region — offering broad market reach and a strong, loyal patient base. Physicians enjoy a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture with shared call coverage at a major regional medical center and meaningful involvement in research opportunities as a Principal Investigator. Compensation is among the most competitive in the specialty, with a base salary ranging from $550,000 to $650,000 depending on experience, plus a productivity model that rewards performance once a collections threshold is met. Physicians will also receive a $50,000 sign-on bonus. Additional financial upside includes equity interest in the group, ancillary revenue sharing through the practice's pathology lab, and a percentage of research collections — creating multiple income streams well beyond a traditional employed model. Relocation support is provided, and the practice welcomes J-1 waiver candidates and offers a clear path to permanent residency. Casper, Wyoming is an outdoor enthusiast's dream — surrounded by dramatic high desert landscapes, mountain ranges, and the North Platte River, offering world-class hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, and recreation year-round. The state has no income tax, a very low cost of living, and a strong sense of community that physicians and their families find refreshing after years of high-cost urban living. If you are seeking a rare combination of financial upside, ownership opportunity, and an exceptional quality of life, this is a practice worth a conversation.
